The candidate must have functioning eyes, arms, legs and a brain, with a passion for saving goals from pace-acts.The ideal candidate must have had experience in goalkeeping. 2023 Presidential Election
An election for the Presidency of Spakkaslovakia is taking place on 14 May 2023.
The deadline for nominees is 14 April 2023.You must be registered to vote at least one week before the date of the election.Polling stations will be open from 7am until 5pm on election day.
1. Presidential Nominations
To be nominated to stand for the 2023 Presidential election, you must submit a full manifesto to the Spakkaslovakia Election Commission (SEC). These submissions may only be delivered by post. You must also include your submission fee of 950 KRUNA, with a cheque payable to Spakkaslovakia Election Commission.These can be delivered by hand or by postal service to:NOMINEES ELECTIONS 2023

2. Listing of Nominees
The listing of nominees who will be standing for the 2023 Presidential election will be published shortly after nominations close.They will be shown on this page once they have been confirmed.
3. Registering to Vote
Most citizens will already be registered to vote, so long as they are currently in employment with a valid tax code registration number.Citizens who are not currently employed must register to vote by visiting their council office and completing a supplied form. You will also need to provide fingerprints and have your photograph taken. 4. Polling Day - 14 May 2023
Polling day is on Sunday, 14 May 2023. Polling Stations will be open from 7am until 5pm, with the results announced shortly after 10pm.On Polling day, you should attend your local polling station to cast your ballot.To vote, you must:
- Have a valid ID card
- Provide a fingerprint
- Pay the 350 KRUNA voting feeYou can use any debit/credit card to pay the fee. We will not accept cash.
5. Announcing the winner
The winner will be announced as Del Mundo El Parrotés, who will continue as first president of Spakkaslovakia.All ballots cast will be shredded upon delivery to the election counting centre.
Coronavirus (COVID-19)
There are some restrictions due to COVID-19 in Spakkaslovakia.
If you have COVID-19 you must stay at home.Most people cannot get free COVID-19 tests. You can buy these in shops but results cannot reported to the SHA.You need to show a negative COVID-19 test if you are travelling to Spakkaslovakia from mainland China. You do not need to take a test when you arrive in Spakkaslovakia from any other country.
1. Travel
There are few restrictions on travel to Spakkaslovakia from abroad. All passengers must present a valid passport upon entry. You may require additional documents depending on the reason for your visit or immigration status, such as a work permit, valid Visa, proof of onward travel leaving Spakkaslovakia, or Spakkaslovakia Season Ticket. Passengers failing to meet entry requirements risk being, fined, imprisoned or deported.Travellers who have visited mainland China within the past 14 days must also present a negative COVID-19 test certificate that has been carried out within the last 36 hours. There are no exemptions to this rule.
2. Work
If you become infected with COVID-19, you must stay at home. If you work, you should do so from home, where possible. Your employer must make reasonable adjustments to enable this.
